well i went to crappy tire again and walked out poor but with a nice 1940r svt 40, i am pretty sure it has a 1944 Avt 40 stock on it that place is keeping me poor, i wish i had more money to spend so i could get another one lol

Top one is 1944, middle is 1941 with rail and bottom is 1940r with rail
so marks on the side
Picked up a decent Smith & Wesson M&P Model of 1905, 4th Change in .38 Smith from a fellow CGN'er. This one is Canadian marked. I love these old Smiths - the fit and finish of a pre-1941 S&W is just beyond compare.
Sorry for the crappy cell phone pics. I took them too late after there was no sunlight
I got my Arisaka type 38 yesterday. I am new to japanese rifle and i must say that they are very very well made. As you can see,the type 38 is a long rifle, particulary with the bayonet. You can definitely stab a zombie without leaving your trench! Maybe an expert will came in to tell me more about my rifle. The metal is in great condition, mum is ground like most Arisaka, the bore is quite nice. The action is smoother than i was thinking, even the dust cover doesn't rattle too much. Unfortunatly, the stock is cracked, the seller didnt show that on the EE.... and the magazine spring was broke as well(i borrowed the one of my K98 until a source one) Let's see somes pics.
New Addition 1953 Polish M44. B'day present to myself . These are taken by the seller, still has cosmo in the nooks and cranny's.Has a couple marks here and there on the stock but nothing terrible. I Will clean it up, and take some better pictures and post once it arrives. Happy Birthday to me...
It's been six months since anything has been posted in this thread which is little more than show and tell. Does this really need to be stickied?? There are far too many already.
