Could the most accurate rifle be a takedown...

Can you please post some videos of yourself shooting a rifle and/or targets you've shot. It's important that you learn to experience the other side of the "Internet equation" as well as the side you were indulging in above. Thanks for your cooperation.
Here a couple of mine both 5 shots group... JP.

Yah, no kidding Macro. The kids are coming out, and they've got their panties in a knot.

Roger is a "legend" (notice I used quotes when I said this... hint, hint, tongue firmly in cheek) at our range because there is no one anywhere, at any range, that has a quarter of the exotic stuff he has. He's also a really nice guy, a great shot, and a good friend of mine. I just call him a "legend" to tease him. He's definitely been a "legendary" fixture at the PCDHFC for many years. He knows his gear. He's helped me out alot over the years, and personally I would value his take on anything new in the area of precision rifles over the people who only have limited experience with precision rifles -which is almost everyone on here.

And yah... the guy you identified in the videos is not Roger. That's the guy that bought the Nemesis. He is a new shooter, or he certainly was at the time that video was taken. Don't feel too bad for him though. That women in the video is his ladyfriend.

Check out his channels on youtube.

its okay.........I know who your talking about......100K worth of toys and willing to talk to anyone and let them fire a few rounds out of everything he owns......he is a stand up guy and a shooters shooter.....but you're more likely to find him at the range doing his thing then on the internet typing about it.........

Does this mean you're withdrawing your application for "Legend" status? Lol

For a true group size you measure the overall group from the widest point across the outside of the bullet holes then subtract the bullet diameter you are using.............not guessing where the center of the holes are..........From what I see your groups are a little larger then what you have recorded.........I would say the first target is closer to 0.417" and the second target is closer to 0.755".................and those target squares measure out on my computer screen to be 1" squares........

So in reality, This Nemesis rifle doesn't seem shoot any better then my own rig, or many, many of the other rigs I have seen on the range or competed against at competitions I frequent........... ;)

I don't know if you noticed it or not but those groups were shot at 200 m. (According to what he has wrote on the target)

Yes I saw that.................As I stated in my last post, my rifle and many, many of the rifles I have seen on the range or competed against can shoot just as well.............

Skullboy...Happy, if it make you feel better, for me those 200 metres groups are not the best i achived but they are a satisfactory average of what on a good day, i could do all day from the bipod and the rear monopod with my rifle... JP.

I may totally be out to lunch on this one so please correct the following assumption, but isn’t it the reason why the Nenemis (or any other high-end takedown rifles for that matter) is not being used in-mass by F-Class, BR or other competitive shooters because it wasn’t:
- Designed with that specific shooting activity in mind?
- It being purposely built for super quick take-down & compact transportation capabilities?
- Built with tolerances that will allow it to work in environment where a single-shot BR rifle would cease up immediately?

To say that not until the Nemesis starts winning these competitions that it’ll be a given a second look by some here is a flawed and invalid response IMO. Could it do well orvery well in these competitions? Perhaps it very well could, or perhaps it’d fail miserably.

An unfitting tool for the job at hand it would be if you compare it to these full on custom rifles. I think (hope) you guys would say the same if someone would suggest bringing a BR rifle at a Tactical Rifle competition. Sure it could well outshoot most rifles there, but running around with a BR trophy queen with a beautiful paintjob that weighs 16-17lbs through some a competition isn’t exactly the right tool for the job at hand.

My humble 2cents.

The main issue at hand are claims by the OP that the Nemesis is the end all and be all of accurate rifles, and claims of groups that rival or are world Benchrest records.............

We all know about the Nemesis and don't need it constantly pushed down our throats.................the best way to silence the nay sayers is for the OP to attend and compete at one of the provincial rifle matches against serious competitors and their rifles where results can be verified.................Maynards MOA challenge was the perfect venue for this to take place and the OP was supposed to show up but ended up being a no show (which did not surprise many)...........

If you are going to make bold claims you better expect to be called out and provide verifiable proof...........otherwise it is better to keep quiet and just enjoy shooting.......... ;)

Then UTG's 100 meter & 300 meter .5 MOA challenges should be a cake walk....... ;)

EXACTLY.

Like I said Skullboy, it appears I may have to sell a few Bat actioned 6PPC's and buy me a Nemesis for competing in BR matches. The claims will RIVAL just about any Canadian BR shooter if not beat us on a regular basis. That is even with the added recoil of a .308. Wonder if I could handle shooting over 200 rounds in a couple of days without developing a flinch?

I think NOT.
