SAM opinions?

I have a Norinco and a SAM the SAM is a lot better made than the Nork but I have to admit is a good value for the price which I think was $99.00 (Norinco Model 213)

New Norinco's don't need any tuning. They come with a new and improved, lighter trigger pull.
You Norc haters, do yourself a favour, and check out one of the new ones. You won't be sorry!

Definitely not a norinco hater. I've been toying with getting a Norc 1911 for awhile, and doesn't help the wallet that CanAm keeps having the 1911/1000rd deals. Very hard to resist.

I have both a .45 and a 9mm commander models and love them. 9 has 1000-1500 and the .45 about 500 flawless round through them. I have always cleaned used frog lube on them after every night of shooting and they both look like new inside.

They group awesome, I would have to say with in 1/2"-1" , I just added pics of mine to the 1911 pic threat that's pinned at the top. When I bought the guns I wanted them to have a slimmer feel so I went with slim Hogue grips and i find them a lot more comfortable to hold like that. That seems to be the nice part about a 1911 frame gun is a lot of people make goodies for them.

i just bought a SAM and it is really nice, i keep trying to find a ride to the range. best i can do for a range report is tomorrow. my buddy and I will most likely get one box out each. it will be more of a hey it works :) or a ah #### it broke :(...
it came with what seems to be a good quality itailn made mag. just one. the overall fit and finish is great. it is a military model.

I will post more after i shoot it.

this is what i posted in the other thread

so i only got to shoot half a box of .45 today due to time, no problems with it at all. shoots great.
sorry for the simple version, but i have that cold going around.
at five yards is those great, my buddy liked it as well.
going to reload for it. 6$ difference a box when shooting factory, (wolf reloads) or reload my own for 4 cents a shot more over 9mm.
