Where can I find .38/.357 speed strips like the Bianchi ones? I am looking for a better way to carry loose rounds in my pocket. Amazon won't ship them to Canada, Brownells doesn't carry them, and I can't find any dealers in Canada who carry them. 686 speedloaders were hard to find but these seem even more elusive.

I don't know where to find those strips, and I know it's not much help, but if you can't find the speed strips, you could use a pistol magazine that will take .38 spl and/or .357 (Coonan and S&W), or perhaps one of the clips used for top-loading fixed magazine 9mm pistols like the Broomhandle Mauser and the Steyr 1911. Those clips probably would require some adjustment, but they are around if you look a bit (?TradeExCanada and Marstar). Personally, I prefer using speed loaders or moon clips. These suggestions are kind of lame, but the best I could think of if you can't find the strips and want something that will hold cartridges in a row.
Thanks for the suggestion MTF. The thing about the speed strips is you can take put two rounds at a time into the cylinder and then tear the strip away instead of pulling rounds off a stripper clip and then loading them.

.... From memory, the Speedloaders for the Colt Python work with the 686. Also, consider using the plastic Wallets made by MTM. You would have to load rounds individually admittedly, but they are readily available, cheap and durable, and they do organize small quantities of spare ammunition. ..... David K
I was not aware the strips had such a short lifespan. I did find some speed loaders but I was just looking for more ammo holding accessories. A wallet or belt loops sounds like the way to go. Thanks for the advice everyone.

What are you doing with them that causes them to tear so soon??? I have some Bianchi Speed Strips from the late 80's that are still going strong and have gotten the Tuff Products ones from Brownell's recently and they seem at least as good if not better (and available for more calibers)...

I'm glad to hear that Shooting Center carries them - I'll probably swing by later today! I've been looking for these for a while, too.
These are not "gun parts", so any US retailer should be able to ship them here. Unless there are manufacturer restrictions that they are forced to follow. For the same reason, you can also safely buy them on your next visit to the USA.
Edit: I see that Brownells does carry them, but are currently out of stock for the 38s

I'm very pleased with the 38/357 and 44/45 Tuff Strips that I just bought from Calgary Shooting Centre.
I've no idea on the long term durability of these units, but I have no particular reason to be worried. I wouldn't expect them to last as long as traditional speedloaders. It's a fairly tight fit, and I'd recommend using a bit of lube on the polymer every once in a while to extend their lifespan.

I use those wallets all the time. I only shoot .22 LR and I permanently glue two wallets back to back.
This gives me a "booklet" (fits in a trouser's rear-pocket) of 60 rounds, three rows of ten in each wallet.
Six booklets in my range bag. Also being translucid rectangular pieces cut from the box in which the
ammo came, reveals atg a glance what ammo is in each wallet.
