486 Parallelo

Tomorrow at the IWA show in Germany, Beretta will show the new SxS 486 Parrallelo. I should get pics soon. The one they showed on Faceebook, looks just lovely!

Nice SxS,...I was never a fan of the 'round action',... but a nice gun nevertheless.

Likely kicks like a mule, just like all their other SxS's

They also need to develop a new blueing technique, it looks cheap. Browning blueing is better...

Probably does kick nicely, nothing a recoil pad won't fix though.
Bluing on this SxS looks decent and well done (traditional), but the majority of Beretta's bueing does seem cheap unfortunately, whatever it takes to keep cost down.

Recoil pad my foot! A light gun is a light gun and beretta's stock dimension seem to transmit a little extra for some reason....

I still think even the bluing on that gun isn;t too hot, the blueing is too glossy and shallow looking, hard to explain.

Maybe now Browning will have the courage to make a sxs that will be more affordable than the Beretta 486.
Any way the 486 looks great but I think it will be in $6000 range.
