I can tell a Knights from a Larue from a DPMS from an H&K.

But I don't know the AR-10 well enough to put a name to this guy.

Anyone have any ideas?

The rail system looks pretty distinctive, it just doesn't match anything in my brain library.

Ohhhhh yeahhh! That cantilevered rail like on the CASV right? The pattern on the handguard is different from what I've seen from VLTOR.

The fluted barrel and the machining on the forward assist should be a dead give away for someone.

This is probably an eye roller, but the AR-10 is restricted right?

For the most part yes.

There are a few in country that are early non-restricted, but they're more mythical than a unicorn and no longer in production. Any modern made AR-10 will be restricted.

POF used to make a 20" Canadian edition. Too bad they are high end with high end price.

Years ago they were top of the game.....Too many high quality piston systems out there now to justify the high price POF wants.

Those POF Piston AR's are nice. A few years ago I watched as a few guys put more than 200 rounds through one in a few minutes. After stopping, they broke the rifle down and one of the guys tossed me the bolt. Clean and cool to the touch. Nice system, but a bit too much for me for just a restricted rifle.
