Have you put Tritium sights on your CZ Shadow?

I have a SP-01 Shadow that I'm very happy with. The only thing I'm thinking about modifying is sights. While I really like the production sights (red FO front, standard flat back) for most applications that are relevant to me, I'm hitting a wall in a couple of areas. I find fast target acquisition (from holster, for example) is much slower with my Shadow sights than with three dot Tritium sights. I also find it hard to set up the sight alignment against a dark target in anything other than the brightest of environments (indoor range, even when decently lit, doesn't seem to be light enough).

Has anyone here changed the standard sights for Tritium?

CZCustom lists them (ht tp://czcustom.com/czshadowiireartritium.aspx), but I thought I'd see if anyone has experience with them (or any other replacements).

Thanks for your input.

The whole point of the Tritium sights is that they glow in the dark, right? So during daylight they just look like slightly off white dots. Some indoor ranges may be a little dim but they aren't actually dark. May as well just buy sights with white dots and save a bundle.

The guns I've had with the white front dot and two rear dots on either side of the notch quickly got the two rear ones filled over with black felt pen. I found the three whites confusing and harder to get my first shot sight picture. But I can appreciate that not everyone picks up on this stuff the same. As a test why not use a toothpick to spot two small dots of white paint on your rear sight and see how things go for you. If you like it then you could look at having someone good at metal working spot drill a couple of shallow reliefs which can be filled with white paint to make it more permanent and safer from being chipped off.

Green fiber optic is cheap, so thats a good start for me. I still would like to have the option at a later date to try the 3 dot, so I will have to eventually get some.

Ok. The factory is 1.5. So I will order for it. Wow shipping from CZ custom is expensive. Rods and front tritium is 50 bones to ship!!!!
