Open up a 10 gauge choke - who does it in eastern Canada/Maritimes?

That's what I meant - I was there a few weeks ago and I think the prices were lower then, from what they are today. Maybe they just raised them, or I don't remember correctly.

I'm sorry I misunderstood. That could be. Not cheap for a 10ga SxS regardless. Some guys just get it done with one tube to keep the cost down and buy the extra tubes down the road or never.

At $75 to cut the barrel, and likely not much more to ream the chokes out, it really comes down to - how much dough is worth spending on an old double barrel? $100ish to shoot steel is OK. But for $500ish, I'm well on my way towards a Mag 10 or BPS, and halfway towards one of the new semis.

you could get a brake cylinder hone and ream them out your self, just use an oil as a lubricant.

Too bad about Atlantic Firearms! I moved to the SJ area 12 years ago from the Moncton area so lost touch with him, he did good work. Funny you can still find him listed on the interweb though?

Try Gunco in Ottawa. I think he still does choke work. If Jason is willing to do you can ship it here and I can run it by the shop, I am interested to see how this works out for you, I will be in the same boat this summer.
