Hello people,
I'm currently on the hunt for a new hunting rifle chambered in .300 Sav. as the title suggests. I already have a Savage 99 but it's not worth it to have it drilled and tapped so I would like something bolt action. I checked the Savage website and it seems they are not currently manufacturing new rifles in this caliber, I read previously that in 2003 Remington made a limited run of Model 700s in .300 Sav. but have not been successful in finding one of those. It doesn't have to be brand new, it could be old, it could be blued with wood or stainless with synthetic, and it doesn't even have to be the Remington, open to all suggestions for brands. However it does have to be in .300 Sav., I don't know why but I'm just attracted to this cartridge, and am a fan of the low recoil and how it's the predecessor to the ever popular .308 Win. Anyway, any help or suggestions are appreciated, thank you.
