do a search of clayne_b and see how accurate that thing is out to 500 yards. Mine is the most accurate "non match grade" 22 I own. 0.250 groups at 50 yards off a harris bipod no less. great little rifle. sold 3 other cz's as they we not as accurate as the scout.

What ammo were you using?
I'd say the operator behind the Scout knows what he's doing.
My 452 Scout is my favorite .22, and I'll croak before it leaves my hands for sure.
I shoot this little rifle more than any in my collection. This one I free floated and
tuned the trigger to 1.5 lbs., and it shoots as good as the ones stated above.
These rifles are sweet!

Do you ever shoot your Scout from the prone position? Doesn't the Scout come from the factory with a floated barrel?

Floating isnt the end all be all. My 452 hmr isnt anyplace near floated and shoots very very good. My 455 22wmr had to be floated to get it to shoot. Buy, then try, then sand if needed.
not a picture of the rifle, only the results. found this in my picture archive. typical group of the scout, when testing for accuracy. scout was tuned with a yodave trigger kit and bedded with leather. I use a thin piece of leather for a washer on the action screw and there is leather everywhere the action meets the stock. very thin leather. deadens vibrations.
