Am I dreaming or did a post WTS disappear from the EE? The guy "largeborewhore" said he inherited one and wanted to sell for $450 send email for pics. I know the pricing somewhat suspicious but the guy has a good trader rating...no reply, no post...deleted!?

Can someone verify that I'm not nuts and this was a posting last week?

It was there a couple days ago. Lots of people emailed for pics, the reason I know this is because he group emailed us all back at the same time, with everyones email visible in the CC's lol
 
I was looking at it too and @$450 it was a steal. ####. I should add that I didn't bother PM'ing for pics as I figured it was too good to be true.
 
I was the first to email him about that gun. It was not the heavy under lug model it was the standard barrel and unsure if it was the interchangeable model. His price to me in his responses went from $450 to $650 after he recieved the other responses and sent the mass email, because of this price change I declined the sale. Just my experience with that sale.

Well thanks guys, at least I'm not nuts:).

Turf, I understand exactly where you're coming from. I too thought the deal was too good to be true, but then he inherited it. He said next to mint, but didn't say if he had even fired it..."maybe it's somehow broken? No DA perhaps?" His trader rating was solid enough for me to ask for pics, and I assumed for that price one is probably going to end up having to try to find 30 year old Dan Wesson parts to repair it!?

Ah well, on to the next,

That's a pretty slimey way to do business. :mad:
 
I also didn't believe it to be real, I have a 6" Model 15 with the heavey underlug. I am not really a revolver guy, but this is the finest Revolver I ever fired. Its a keeper!
