prefer flush fit magazines.......should I just get over it ???

I don't understand this concern at all. If you are going to hang it on a wall maybe, but not when you are using it.

If I'm hunting I prefer a flush fitting mag, keeps getting caught on branches to a minimum. if I'm at the range it doesn't matter, but I'll use a long one if I have it for that rifle, theres less reloading mags that way.

To the O.P: Have you thought of giving up on the magazine fed rifles and go to the tube fed??? Then you have no worries

No harm in preferring one aesthetic over another, but there isn't a chance I'd pick...or not pick a rifle because of how far the mag hung out. I guess I have a similar sensibility though...albeit, somewhat diluted. :) I think every high capacity .22lr magazine I've ever seen looks cumbersome and fussy to load. That said...I may have no choice but to buy a 30rd. mini drum for my Marlin 795. Not the Frying-Pan-sized 70 rounder though. :)

Browning T-Bolt with the nine shot rotary mag.
They claim to hold ten round, but nay nay.

Mine holds 10. I have 3 mags and all hold 10 LR rounds. T-Bolt rotary mag is a perfect system, reliable, easy to load and unload, overall mt T-Bolt target/Varmint is my favorite .22.

If flush/not flush was the only consideration then of course flush is preferred.

Since magazine capacity is also a consideration I'll sacrifice flush for more rounds in the mag.

Ten rounds is a perfect compromise for me so if it's not flush I live with it.

If I have a choice, tube mags are out. Sometimes there is no choice, like in a Winchester '94 lever or my Savage Model 29 pump. I just live with that too, it's just the way the guns are and I still love them.

Rugers have flush mags as well plus they accept the aftermarket 10/22 mags which can be a bonus in the gopher patch.

Ultimately accuract is the deciding factor for me. I'd rather have a rifle that was extremely accurate and held fewer rounds than a giant banana mag that sprays bullets all over the paper.

You are absolutely correct.
Just a bit more finger pressure and voila..........ten in.

Thanks.

Flush mag for me, or it don't stay in the fleet.
