I recently acquired (as of Dec. 1st at the Reliable Gun year-end clearance sale) a Browning X-bolt Stainless Stalker chambered in .375 H&H. The gun is a typical Browning, that is, beautiful. I bought the dies and everything else I needed, and began my first attempts with IMR 4064 and 300-grain Nosler Accubonds. These very first attempts have already yielded MOA and better groups, and I believe I can get them to at least .5 MOA with some more work. I was just curious who else out there reloads the cartridge, and what recipes you use? Especially interested in loads using the same bullet (300-grain Accubond).

for shooting paper my best load is a 250grn sierra bt behind 67 grns of varget. my best group to date with that load is 3/8th. will shoot under an inch. i let a young guy at the range try my 375 as he was interested. first group was at 3/4 of an inch. better than he was shooting his own 270wsm.
my other load i use alot is a 260ab behind 73 grns of rel15. its not quite as good as the sierra but good enough t hunt with

I am still experimenting with the 4064, but if that won't get the groups tight enough, RL15 will be on my list as well. Also considering trying H4895.

My pet load is RL 15 and 270 gn Barnes TSX, 2925 fps and .75 groups. I have killed a lot of game with this load including 2 hippos and a croc, a bongo, a lion and a bunch more stuff. This is my one gun for all and my load to do it.

That's my planned meat and potatoes load for any thing that walks.

For all you 375 H&H shooters...if you have it, try W760 with 250 - 300 grain pills.
I have always had great results with this powder in the old "Classic"
Use a Magnum primer with this one though.
Regards, Eagleye.

80 grains of WC852 under Horn. 270 SP. Fed 215's, seated out to 3.850" oal for this long throat/mag BRNO 601. 2850 fps. Just over 1MOA groups typical.
79-80 grains of IMR4350 goes 2650fps with 300gr Barnes X, and even better accuracy in my H&H.
These loads are very likely way too hot for a shorter throated barrel.

Going to pick me up some Barnes 270's and R15, try out c-fbmi's proven load. 2925 fps?, holy cow ... that seems unlikely from my tube, however the sedentary 2850fps shoots plenty flat and comes back hard enough to keep this plinker smiling!, LoL.

My loads are safe in my rifle, which is a 24" barreled 700 Rem. I have used them in 50 deg heat in Zambia with no pressure signs what-so-ever. Chrono'd at about 20 deg C, wonder what velocity was at 50..........

Some good stuff on here! I am currently using CCI 250 LRM primers, they are my go-to magnum primer. Tried the Fed. 215's, didn't perform quite as well in my rifle. Liking the Accubonds though, likely to stick with them. Playing with C.O.L. right now, then powder amounts... I am optimistic about the 4064, but if it fails to deliver the accuracy I want (sub-1/2 moa) then I'll move on to other powders.

Looking forward to accounts of your success' in the varmint fields OP. They've always said the .375 will do all, to all!. He He .

Not lookin to do any varminting with it, I just like getting my guns as accurate as I can, because I can! Hehe.

My 375 H&H really like H4350 with 300gr. bullets

I was originally going to use H4350, but the Accubonds seat so deep that even a minimum charge was too much powder. The load was so compressed the brass began to swell.
