Tanfoglio Stock 'x' Xtreme range

G'day guys,

(Took me a while to pass your immigration test) but I was wondering if anyone had any info to share on the new tanfog range I saw there is now a Stock 2 Xtreme and wondering if there is a Stock 3 Xtreme?


Also Why is the Stock 2 more expensive here in canada? almost $500 more? :/

Any ETA's or Prices/ Specs would be great!
 
The Stock II and Stock III Xtreme models were just shown at IWA and not yet available for us to order from the factory.
We expect that to happen early next month with likely delivery in late June. Pricing is not yet available but expect Stock II Xtremes to be over $2000.

Stock IIs are more expensive than IIIs because they have more expensive finishes (hard chrome v.s blue) and the polygonal rifled Bull barrels

As soon as information is available from the factory to us, we will post it here on the Xtreme models.
 
Cool thanks so that looks like a$400 premium essentially ? For upgraded firing pin/ hammer and grips?

For shooting ipsc is the stock 3 more value then the 2?

I'm from Australia and the stock 3s already retail for over 1.5k would love to import one but might be a bit more expensive

That, special base pads, Eric's F/O Front Sight, special finish, special case, and Eric's personal attention to it. (he will be personally quality approving each one)
And as I mentioned, it's an estimate - and the Xtreme guns won't be for everyone. You can buy a base III and put Eric's parts on it and it will be similar, but not near as expensive. Some people like the Special Editions.

It's a personal call. We sell about 60% Stock IIIs and 40% Stock IIs.

Picked up my stock 3 special from Sean this weekend. Fit and finish was awesome. Works 100%...but only had time to fire about 40rds. Already polished it up a bit and swapped out hammer springs to a 14lb. Imho...it is an excellent value as you get the wonder finish, two mags with black aluminum basepads...aluminum grips and nice case. Comes with cleaning kit as well.

I was planning on the xtreme if it wasn't too much more then the stock 3 as I was going to make all the same changes anyhow but will see :)
 
I will try and post some pics of my Fraternal twins sporting OEM black grips. (stock3 Special and Stock2).

A stock 2 with rail and in that finish would be the ultimate configuration with Erics Xtreme parts.

not with the light they are not. THats just fluff for the photo. No different than a CZ Shadow or Sphinx being on the production list...or the Sig X-Five. The stock 2 has been on the list for about 5+ years.

It's no different of course... it's more a comment that I think the rules for Production need to be tweaked. Production is the new Standard these days, except for the double action requirement. Production guns don't even have to fit "the box."

Forgive the digression... I know this has been a bit off topic.
