500 S&W reloading

where are you located in ontario?

if your in the GTA area then rouge river arms has hornady 500 brass for just a big cheaper then double tap. but they have to order it in (which doesn't take long if the suppliers have it in stock.

for bullets i haven't seen any local that are cheap plinking rounds. it's all been JHP's etc at or close to a buck a shot.

your best bet is to cast for it, or order a bunch of plated.

with that i've not really checked gun shops near your area although i'm guessing you have already.

The bullet barn sells cast bullets that will work just fine in your 500 S&W.

I use 330 grain Bullet Barn cast bullets with 10.0 grains of IMR Trail Boss for an awesome plinking load.

I think they were around $100/1000

I use the same 10gr for a 440gr bullet. It's very mild, feels like a 22 or 9mm.
