A few months ago, there was a thread discussing the name "valmet". It went on about who own the rights too valmet and if someone could buy the rights too it, And later produce a valmet canada.

Nothing more than talk. I don't see it happening. Canada is too small of a market. Plenty of other countries where ak's arn't banned.

Valmets are excluded from the AK prohib status.

It is not that easy.

Valmet Hunter model that was made in Finland is a named exception, even if you start a company in Canada call it Valmet and produced an exact copy of the hunter, it will still be deemed a variant of the AK.

This thread just proves that a canadain ak would sell like crazy to those that are In to that sort of thing. I hope it comes in 24 karat gold or platinum would be kinda cool. Can it accept Ar mags is there a mag well adapter ? What about caliber a can I get it in 50 Beowulf ? that would be sweet. Is there a pistol version I think they should come out with that first.
