magazine for savage 340

Where can i get a magazine for a savage 340 in 30/30 ?
i know they are available new in the states but with the prohibitive shipping laws i doubt i could get anyone to ship to Canada.
so where can i get one in Canada?

I got one shipped from the USA by a buddy. They aren't too $$$ so they dont' require any extra permits. Couldn't find one in Canada though.

I see them at most gun shows around here for $30-40. Try a WTB ad on the EE. I bought a cheap 340 on the EE because it was missing the mag, I found a mag at the very next gunshow.

I had a magazine shipped from the states two years ago with no issues. Was pretty clear what it was and where it came from.

It was actually from Savage.

Brownells has them for 35 bucks i believe and they definately wont ship one to Canada.

Ya. I should clarify it wasnt for a 340, but for a 64. Still, it was shipped to Muskoka ON during the G8 Summit. If they'll allow gun parts to be shipped to where/when the world leaders are assembling, then I cant see why they'd have an issue now

Just ordered a replacement mag from Savage for Mod. 99c in .308 Win. About 2 weeks ago. According to my son it arrived the other day.

Yup, they sure do. Found it listed on the website and ordered it over the phone.
