Crossman 2240

Tried Canadian tire, they do not stock them anymore.
The 2240 was always good for a few grouse a day while big game hunting. and being a Co2 single shot was plenty accurate, would be a shame if they quit making them.

Yup these are presently one of the hottest units going, with tons of custom parts available.

Wal-Mart has them in stock at maybe the best price going - also check out scopesandammo.com

Check out airgunforum.ca as well. More info on these units on that site than you would ever want or need.

Good luck

Wholesale you will probably have to order one as they don't last on the shelf.
That's what I did when I was working in GP .
Shot quite a few grouse with one.

Leaky seals are common so I don't recommend used. I am on my 3rd one in 10 years

That is a new one to me,,, I have never had a leak on any of my 2240's. They have one of the most reliable stem seals of any airgun that I have worked on. The powerlet seal can be damaged if overtightened but that goes for any of the C02 guns.

Bought a couple at WSS two years ago, they were quite cheap and oh yeah, they're the most customized air pistols out there. Have to watch on the power mods, it becomes restricted real quick. This one chronos at 490 with Crosman pellets.

I am going to pick up a 1377 soon - this is one of the first air pistols I shot (had the 2nd generation model at the time)

Probably in .177.

Very easy to get: Canadian Tire, Walmart, Green Diamond Outfitters.
Much harder to get unless you mail order it is the .22 version: 1322

2240 are sold at NB Walmarts but no stores sell them in HRM.
