I recently got a Dlask ak-type slanted brake for my vz-58. Its great in terms of muzzle rise control, now it recoils straight back. It has three indexing notches and i found that having it oriented to direct the gases top right worked the best. I couldnt tighten it all the way down, when tightened it needs a couple more degrees to to line up with the first notch and i will sand it down a bit to do just that, today it was out one turn to see what works.
However, holy batman point of impact changes. at 40 yards without the brake it hits on the bottom left of a 11x8.5 target, with the brake, top right. Will tightening it up help or am i forever stuck with the front sight up and to the right?
