The AR 100 by Daewoo

One of my Black rifles is this pre-ban AR 100.
I added the low optic rail from Stormworkz, the Aimpoint Comp M4s, the DC Vortex flash hider and P-Mag.

It is piston driven, it can be fired folded and I've not noticed any big over heating problem with the hand guard.

Back in the day, a friend had one. Disconnector chipped, started firing bursts. Embarrassing when one of the other shooters is a cop. We discovered that AR parts would fit, made repair easy.

I guess Robinson ripp... er... borrowed the concept when designing his rifle.

What recoil? After shooting my M14s the woo feels like a water pistol when shot.

My first rifle was a Daewoo KC-20. I bought it in 88 and sold it in 91 and always regretted it. Loved that rifle.

I have a Daewoo K2 that I picked up for $100 when they first went prohib.

Used it for a few IPSC 3 gun matches and absolutely LOVED IT!

It was by far the best pointing rifle that I have ever shot.

The Daewoo K2 and also the Japanese Howa Type 89 are very good underrated STANAG service rifles .. they are very rugged over built piston rifles like the SIG 550 is, They can handle full auto use much better than a AR ..
