 OK I gottas fess up, I was lubing and investigating why my MKIII was missing after the first three or four shots, (you pull the trigger but it would just slip by maybe on the third squeeze it would fire!) I was going to try more lube and had that done, was in a hurry to get to the range and put the mag in backwards,f%$k s#!t, so any one have any idea how to get that puppy out, tried for a half hour but no luck! Thanks for any help!

I googled this problem for you and it's been done before.

No worries. Simply remove the left grip and insert a small tool, plastic knife or small flat screwdriver, up into the open slot towards the back of the pistol, about opposite the mag release.

God bless you, thanks very much! I never thought it would show up in google, but as my kids say, everything is on google and the net. ;0) I will try that when I get home monday, Cheers.

If you cannot remove it, don't force it out. A new shooter in our club did the same thing trying another shooter's pistol. Screwed, big time. They were able to remove the magazine but the gun was all messed up. They ended up sending the pistol to a Ruger repair depot and he voluntarily bought the 2-year old in almost new condition pistol from the owner, at current cost after it was repaired.
