CZ SP01 Accu Shadow unobtainium

The gun will never be IPSC Production legal. USPSA maybe, IPSC nope. Not unless Angus has managed to find a way to convince Vince.

Slavex why is this? Are there not models that are stroked by CZC that are considered legal, why would this model be different. For the record I don't shoot IPSC and don't plan to, I just like this gun :)

Because Vince doesn't consider Angus to be a manufacturer. The accushadow is a Shadow that they have reworked, that makes it a custom gun, the bags mods on it are specifically banned from PD.

Thanks. I still think it looks kick a$$ and if it shoots as good as they claim I want it.

Angus was showing me pics of the setup last year when we were in Czech. At the time it was all hush hush, except he was telling everyone. The big key to its accuracy is the barrel bushing and it's engagement. They've done a ton of work on making it a tight gun.

Is this something that you think CZUB might pick up? It's going to cost me quite a premium to get it out of the states.

None of the big wigs at the factory seemed to care about it. Milan thought it was a neat idea, of course he's officially retired.
CZUB can barely get regular Shadows out let alone the 2012/13 special ones. They've dedicated most of their production to the huge orders of subguns they've got. The custom work required by this gun is way beyond anything they would do.

I'm pretty set on getting it so I guess to me it will be worth it. No doubt about it, it will shoot better than I'm capable of making it do. And who knows I might be the only kid on the block with one lol.

I look forward to seeing reviews when you get it. Angus and the boys (and Zoe) are good people and put out great products.

Haha just don't hold your breath, with an 8 week build time and who knows how long for paperwork this might be this years Christmas present to myself.
