I recently had an issue with the L/R turret cap on my Falcon Menace not tightening down with the set screws.

So I contacted Falcon in the UK and sent them some pictures and asked what they could do for me. Nick replied back and said that he would me a new L/R turret cap and that hopefully that would work.

Technically, I bought this scope used and had no claim for warranty work or free replacement parts, but true to his word, Nick sent me two new turret caps (each with different etching to match the U/D cap I already have), 6 new set screws and a wrench to install it all - and all at no cost to me (not even shipping).

I replaced the old cap with the one that Falcon sent me and it works great.

I am very happy with the service I received and would buy a Falcon scope again.
 
Falcon's warranty sucks...the website says lifetime warranty but what they don't say is that they've only been doing that for the last 18 months or so. Basically if you don't have a receipt, you don't have a warranty. This is a huge deal when you can spend a little more to buy a Vortex or Leupold and get a better scope and hassle free warranty. Resale value is definately affected.
 
I have been in touch with Nick about two FM scopes which failed. He was prepared to replace them, but cannot send replacements direct because of UK export controls. These are basically orphan scopes. If you get one and it keeps working, great. If not, you are out of luck.

Export controls ha ha ha...he can send it to Frontier if he was inclined who could forward it to you.

Both mine went back to Falcon because I bought them there and they replaced the first failed with the same model, then replaced the 2nd failed with a Norc M4gery!

Those scopes are rated for .338 Lapua...the website doesn't say it will handle .308 recoil though. Lucky for you it was still covered. Kudos to Frontier...excellent customer service.
