Ruger SR1911

i was thinking of picking up a sr1911. all the reviews said it was a good 1911 for the money. too bad its sold out again. guess its not my time to buy. Those punisher custom grips are sick.
 
Same here with Thailand hardwood grips off eBay but for my 92f. Thailand has nice figured hardwood.

oooh, very tasteful. I've been contemplating changing out the synthetic grips on some of my handguns: Perhaps trying my hand at it.

While on this thread: I didn't even get a chance to visit SFRC and see the sr1911 before I saw they were available, then sold. Ryan, can you get the SR1911CMD?
 
Thank you SFRC for the Ruger SR1911 I bought last month. It is a gem.

Fit and finish is excellent for the price. Out of the box recoil spring was super heavy and trigger pull was

6.5lbs. I experienced three FTF and one stovepipe in the first 20 rounds. The gun worked

flawlessly thereafter. After 230 rounds trigger pull is now 5.5lbs.
