Hey guys&gals,

Just got my first restricted today Glack 17 Gen4. It finally transferred and I picked it up this morning. I've been playing "duck hunt" with my TV all evening...lol

Put on the new beaver-tail backstrap and seems to fit my hand not too bad. Can't wait to shoot it.

Congratulations on the fine pistol purchase! My Glock 17 Gen 4 is my favourite firearm. If you're new to pistols, and run into trouble with grouping your shots left of centre don't fret, that's just part of the learning curve. See link if necessary.

I still do that haha, put on the holster and walk around, make dinner ect. Just make sure to take it off when answering the door!

Meh, if it's not loaded you're not breaking any laws. Just don't step out the front door :)

Nice! I'm just a little bit behind you with my first pistol purchase. I shot and fell in love with the same gun last weekend at Glock open house here in Calgary. Tried two mags and shot the best groups I have EVER shot from ANY pistol, and I've tried many. Wanted to buy immediately, but problem is - they sold out, so I've gotta wait till they get more.

Where did you get yours and how much did it set you back?
