The AR 100 by Daewoo

Excellent rifles, as noted they point well, shoot very softly and for the most part are as reliable as hammers. A friend had one back in the day - good times cranking through 30 rounders at PoCo.

Yes a great rifle ; Chuck Taylor - "ASAA" purportedly called it one of THE Best Assault rifle design marriages of the : M-16, AK47,& FAL .

Thanks for the info. I might think about picking one up in the fall. Although AK is first on the list as the number one "can't have" rifle....
 
The DR-200 sells for a bit less down here, they came with a thumb hole stock and a 1:12 twist barrel.
The vast majority of MAXII and AR100 have a 1:7ish twist.

Do you have the DR-200 version there?
 
That's one of the first rifles I remember holding, when my uncle showed me his prohibs years ago.

It pointed very nicely, even to my untrained noob self, it felt very comfortable to hold and I'm sure it's equally comfortable to shoot. Never got to shoot it due to it being a 12.5. Our laws suck.

Beautiful rifle, H20 man. I'd probably consider picking one up if I could.
