I was very disappointed with Ruger for stupidly marketing their BX-25 mags to work with the Charger pistol, and the long wait for the GSG drums is getting ridiculous, but I'm over it after seeing these new mags. I doubt they're being offered for sale in Canada yet (if ever). I can see a lot of potential for these mags if the price is right for both, the dealers, and end customers. I'm not very happy with the Butler Creek steel lips (can't take them apart to clean, and they're sloppy fitting in the mag well). These would be very welcomed up here if they manage to work as well as they do in the video.

I hope that I'm not the last guy to find out about these, and this is old news to everyone. Any thoughts?

I will bet that this is Ruger's solution to getting Hi-cap mags to their Canadian market... they won't make the same mistake with this mag... get ready for a new product...can't wait to try them!

CRAP!!! I just watched the video and they have the packaging advertising this mag for the Charger pistol too... what the heck is the matter with Ruger???

Looks good, my only gripe is the exposed rounds from the side but its a necessary evil for the thumb stud which is nice but completely unnecessary for standard loading.

Their packaging also states this mag works with the Charger, so unless they make a different insert for the Canadian market, good luck getting one up here.

The charger can burn in hell! Who actually would want a charger even? What a stupid gun that screwed all of us.

Whoa there, I have a charger, in a folding stock, and it rocks! It has nothing to do with stupid laws, blame the law makers! How is a gun, or mag maker, responsible for the mess we call firearms laws we have here? I have to agree with TDC here. I know, shocking.

Well, it should be up to the manufacturers to interpret the laws and make them compatible on both sides of the border. I personally think that Ruger didn't give a $%#* about us Canadians up here when they did their marketing. The way things are going down there, I think that Ruger would be wise to start marketing their stuff better to the Canadian market. It might be the only market they have left. If there's any truth to this mag company marketing their stuff to work with the Charger, it's a real shame. It sure looks like a decent mag.

I wish a Canadian company would emerge that specializes in aftermarket mags geared specifically for Canadian laws. I'm sure it would be quite profitable, lot's of us nutz up here.

"LOTS" is a very relative term. There are more gun nuts in Texas than in all of Canada. . . our market hardly plays into the business plan of any American company. California is a way bigger market than Canada. . . and that's just one state. Texas and Forida together have like 10 million more people than Canada and I would guess a way larger percentage of that market are buying firearms.

No one cares about the Canadian market because we aren't big enough to matter.

I seriously want one of those. A brilliant piece of design work IMHO.

Too bad (i.e., stupid, ridiculous, idiotic, moronic...use the modifier of your choice) they're most likely prohibited here. I wonder if they could be imported in bulk by a Canadian wholesaler, and re-packaged (in both languages, of course:rolleyes:) for use with the 10/22 with no mention of the Charger...or, that it would require pinning for use in the Charger...

Even the price seems reasonable for a does-it-all mag.

Yes, this is true. I meant that there's enough nutz here in Canada for a company that tapers to our specific magazine laws to make a tidy profit. Canadian mag products specifically marketed and designed to Canadian mag laws.
