I like the B-Square base & modifications, don't think I have seen anyone review one here before. You can also get an S&K scope base for the SKS, also don't think I have ever seen one reviewed before.

I agree, $800 for sks not gold plated is expensive. The suppressor makes it look heavy.

I seen another clip with a supressed SKS, looked to me like a large percentage of the gas was blowing right back through the action and all over the scope.

I am not a betting man but I wonder if the fellow in clip I just posted had a supressor with lots of baffles at steep angles to the bore - also could be he put motor oil in the silencer in an attempt to improve sound reducing efficiency - lol there are always trade-offs in the real world.

The NZ fellow at least has an acceptable scope base - although he had to drill & tap one hole, & it's a bit high.

The Gun City suppressors are total garbage. Some out fits over here make some really nice sensible cans, NZ shooters like horrible suppressors though.
