True enough
Not wasted at all. Now you know it will consistently perform well with that ammo.

Can I have my credit now?
Just finished shooting the 10 rounds groups
So just to recap, 2x groups, 10 shots a piece, 124 meters, prone, stock barreled XCR, factory ammo

Again on top of a tonneau cover? With factory Fiocchi ammunition? Is it possible you have mistaken 124m with 24m?
I would graciously like to have your load data.
Now that is some awesome groups! Well done.
And no, you didn't waste your ammo. You probably enjoyed shooting your new gun. You now statistically verified the accuracy of your gun and load. Now there is no doubt.
For curiosity sake, what brand of ammunition are you claiming you've made back to back sub-half-moa 10 round groups with a bone stock XCR at 124m?
I have an XCR-L and have shot some pretty acceptable groups of 1.68" at 100m with a 3-9X40 Burris and factory ammo. I am exhibiting some serious scepticism that my XCR-L could ever deliver groups like those above with any ammo under any conditions. I really don't believe the gun is capable. I rarely see groups that tight out of a varmint grade heavy barrel at 100m. I would like to witness this live before I will believe.

Ahhhh, you noted my obvious sarcasm...and here others are lapping it up.lol.
Let's do some quick math: moa @ 100m = 1.14564", and ~ 1.42" @ 124m
Based on a 1"x1" square these groups measure about half an inch across, making them .35 moa.
.35 moa 10 round groups. Twice, back to back with factory boxed ammo. With an XCR. RIGHT.

He could just be a better marksman than you, too.
