Anybody know of any 223 rifle that may be unrestricted but in the AR-15 style setup? Want something I can take to the bush and is not restricted to the range.
I saw Norinco had the bull pup out but they were pre-order only and I have no idea how good Norincos are. I dont even think pre-order is still available.

Suggestions anybody?
 
Not sure what totally qualifies as "AR15 Style", but others such as the Tavor, FS2000, CSA/CZ 58, Swiss Arms rifles, Benelli MR1 all fall into .223 Military or "Assault rifle" styling. All can be had in Non-restricted variants.

Unfortunately nearly everthing in the list starts at around $2000 and up, barring the CSA/CZ and the SU-16
 
Sounds like you only care that the rifle is scary looking hahah. I would love to have a m4/AR15 style simply because of the customization. You can work completely different uppers and different types of ammo. My dream would be a combo 5.56 Red Dot and 6.5 Scoped long barrel uppers. Carry them in one case.

SL8 has my vote. You cant really scratch the paint, if you're a person that cares about such a thing, and you can clean it with a garden hose.

OP doesn't know that they don't want a .223, they are a very powerful round that only have the purpose of hunting people. No one should own them as they will tear your shoulder off every time you shoot it. We are just trying to help...

To OP-a bullpup is not like an AR in terms of design and ergos-you stated "non res AR style"
To me that means XCR,Swiss,or SU-16
Anyways, there are a lot of threads on this, do a quick search
