Its up to the supplier to make it signature required. I once ordered ammo and it was left in my driveway!

I've gotten 2 shipments from Canada Ammo with ammo in them, one had to be signed for, the other was left on my door step.

I just got UPS notificiation that my order was left on my doorstep from an order with a different vendor. Not happy as I paid for UPS delivery expecting its signature req'd and not that they'd leave it there for at least 6 hours where anyone can just walk off with it.

my last order from canada ammo...a NR gun...
the delivery guy luckily called me on my cell (i wasnt home) and asked if he could leave it on the front steps. I said no, didnt say what the package was, he said he would bring it back to the shipping warehouse with a note saying i can pick it up. walked in the back loading dock like i owned the place and picked it up without a problem.

All my orders from CanadaAmmo has come through the post office. The lady there keeps complaining about the weight of my orders. She says it feels like lead.

You've got some friendly delivery guy! I've never had any delivery company, private or Canada Post, do that for me. Most of the time, though, they've gone with caution and taken them to the warehouse.

Canada Post does not ship ammo which is explosives...If the dude that says he is recieving/shipping live ammo is really doing so he is breaking the law...and will be charged if found out... Canada Post will ship cases or bullets but not actual cartridges.

Yukon1911 is North of 60... They often do things a little differently up there due to infrastructure.
