Hahaha, I know, such a thing doesn't exist, or does it?

I have a Beretta 92 Vertec and recently purchased an Elite II frame from strider007. So I've put the Vertec complete slide assembly on to the Elite II frame. I'm freakin loving it! The gun is pretty much fully upgraded too; removable/replacable tritium night sights, skeletonized hammer, "D" spring (trigger seems lighter and more crisp), metal trigger, metal extended checkered magazine release, checkered front & back straps and stainless steel guide rod & spring with titanium coating. Almost sounds like a 1911 with all those upgrades hehehe. Anyways, I am so excited about this Beretta that I just had to share it with you guys! Here are a few pics, enjoy!

Awesome! You built the dream 92. Beretta would breathe new life into the sales of their 92 series if they would just produce this.

No problem Dan. Enjoy those pics, afterall, it was once half yours lol! Talk to you soon buddy. Take care. :p

Lookin' good, Gordon! Now I wish that I never sold it to you!!! Just kidding, man...enjoy it. And just for the record, I saved those pics...looks AWESOME!!!

Thank you for the compliment shelby. With all the little upgrades, it does feel unique and special to me. I definitely feel as though I've got my dream Beretta now!

be careful using the D spring, the EII frames will last between 10,000 and 21,000 rounds unless you run shock buffs (I burned through two, one at 11,000 and the other at 21,000). My choice would be a 90Two frame with either of my EII top ends on it or a E1A top end on it. the 90Two has a built in aluminum shokbuff which was supposed to help with frame rail cracking.

Thanks for the headsup Slavex, appreciate it. Since this is my only Beretta, as special as it is to me, I don't think I'll be putting that many rounds through it. It's not gonna be a safe queen for sure, but I've got my USP SD, Sig 226 Combat and STI Ranger II to bag on when it comes to throwing 9mm downrange.

Wow, I envy you guys, I'd always thought mixing and matching different 92 variants together would produce something pretty cool looking, never seen it done before though. Assuming I can find one I'd love an Elite to be my first handgun, suppose I should get college paid for first though lol. Wish Beretta still made the Elites and Vertecs, hopefully they'll make some new editions of it again some day.

Is that Inox barrel cut short or something TheGamer###? Or are neither the picture or the gun yours?

The gun I have is 100% spot on. It is legal .05" :p (which is about as much as it sticks out the front of the slide)

Very cool, I just saw that it didn't seem to stick out as much as I thought full length 92 Inox barrels did. If for whatever reason you start to find your gun inescapably repulsive overnight, just send me a PM. :p

The Elites and Vertec barrels are 4.7 inches compared to the 4.9 inch length of the standard barrels, that's why they look almost flush with the slide. I actually prefer the shorter barrel, that's one of the reasons I got the Vertec in the first place. Not that there's anything bad about the standard length barrels, but I'd prefer anything that sticks out past the slide to at least be threaded, just for "cool" factor of course.

the crown on the Elite II barrels is probably the nicest finish I've ever seen on a pistol.
