Just posted this morning...

I just bought an XCR because I thought they wouldn't be coming in for a long time.... damn. They say there will be an announcement soon about the rifle..

EDIT: PICTURES REMOVED seeing as how NS seems to want to stay secretive about how the entire rifle looks... ?

Yea, I cancelled because I am moving later this year but if it is coming in soon I still would have had a couple months to play with it before the move.
 
Those pics without details are meaningless. The rifle might not even be in Canada, or submitted to the RCMP yet.

And yes, I've got one on pre-order.

Edit: looks like the ####ty selector didn't go anywhere.
 
North Sylva posted 1 pic of the stock this morning on the T97 thread in his forum along with an announcement that an announcement would be made shortly.

Someone crawled his file storage site and found 2 other pictures and posted them.

We all went nuts, and NS locked the thread.

Not making NS out to be the bad guy - granted some of us (who have been waiting 3 years for these) got a bit ahead of our selves - still, exciting news.

Yup. And the thread was editted to remove these pics pending the official announcement. They also posted "some people will wreck this for everyone."

Let NS make their announcement.

Fixed carry handle, safety selector location, mag release...

All contributing reasons for me canceling my pre-order. I'll just save up for something that will better suite my needs. Too bad Tavors, FS2000, type 88 are all around $3000.

I'm excited to hear some reviews on this rifle when they finally get out to people.

Nothing wrong with building up a bit of hype, is there?

Now I have to dig up that scope mount I bought while waiting for the first batch of T97's to be released.

I'd like to build a bullpop tripod... With 3 T97's, you could to it for the price of 1 Tavor.
