I hope the rumor about Ontario CFO mailing on Fridays is right, I want to bring my babies home finally!

and I've got my eye on something to buy as soon as the card comes in

I did not follow up or call them so the process time was "normal" I guess.

The paperwork was received Jan 18th
Letter received Feb 7th saying the needed something (my middle name on the application was an issue)
This letter got lost in a pile of mail at my house...
Called Mar 18th resolved issued. I wasn't able to do my interview since the initial processing needed to be completed after this was fixed.
1st Reference got a letter, was called and called back to do the interview week of March 28th
2nd reference received letter same week.
April 1st letter received from CFO saying they need more info from me, I called in, they wanted to do my interview. April 2nd
2nd referenced called April 2nd.
Website update April 3rd saying it was processed and issued.

So 2.5 months approximately.
 
Congrats - my application just showed up on the website - 3 weeks after arrival. Just waiting other things to give them a call.
Anxious too!
 
My app was just delivered today so I am at the start of my journey. From what I have read recently in the PAL thread it looks as if things are starting to speed up for most people compared to what I read from this time last year. Hopefully things go as planned and I am target shooting for the summer.
 
Ontario CFO called me back today (icalled friday and left a message asking for the number and to see if i could transport my nonresticted guns without thr card, the answer is no btw i didnt ask for the pal number again since i was driving when they called) and said it should be in the mail, she confirmed they mail out on Fridays. Call ahead like explained in the sticky to get the license fast.

The card came in the mail today so now can transport my gifts home and go pick up and pay for the sks I put on hold last weekend :)
