Hi All,
I was wondering why we don't see more 5.56x45mm 62gr NATO ammunition in Canada from various other countries. I know we don't see the American stuff because of the ITAR regulations plus right now .223 Rem/5.56 seems to be the hardest rounds to get in the States.
Once in a while we see the Korean PMC X-Tac 5.56x45mm 62gr M855, but not very often. There is also a little be of Swiss GP90 5.56 but that is also hard to come buy. Seeing as how it is the NATO round and here in Canada we can get firearms and ammunition from lots of different countries unlike the restrictions they have in America, why don't we get more of it from various countries?
Why don't distributors bringing in Firearms from various overseas Countries also look into bring more ammunition from these countries?
There is certainly a market for the 62gr rounds here, it would be a much nicer round to shoot out of our 1x7 barrels then the 55gr stuff.
Thanks
