Haha, I can hear my wife now if she caught me with my gun on the plush furniture.
How do you like the optic? I'm torn between a short dot or eotech for my XCR.
LOL - you can see the stock imprint in the cushion. That's what gave it away when she got home
I had an Aimpoint PRO on this rifle and switched it over to my Tavor when I got this optic. I am torn between them. The red dot was fantastic for plinking and even at 100 yds groupings were fine. I wanted to try this optic and I do like it as well. I have never had an Eotech so I can't give you a comparison.

The strikefire low mount is perfect for my XCR with respect to cheek weld etc. I do notice it has a small LOP, I may try to fix that with one of the FAST stocks down the road. For now my money will be spent on ammunition

Nothing a can of paint can't fix. Krylon wipes off with lacquer thinner so there's no risk in experimenting.

The rifles are factory cerakoted, which gives them a heck of a lot more wear resistance, I've had krylon wear off just from handling.
I know, I meant it as an option for him to try the colour without sandblasting and cerakoting his rifle. It wipes off with lacquer thinner so you can return it to the factory black without any damage. I wouldn't suggest it as a long term solution, its pitiful at best for a firearms finish, as you know.

I have the same sight at work on my carbine was looking to get one for my Core 15, but they cost a pretty penny,man im jealous! Nice looking rifle brother!
