I just spoted 30 rounds metric fal mags on Irunguns site. There shipping is quite expansive but they pin the mag for free and ship to canada. The mags ar 25 $ I think.

Try $60 for us. I'll have to check again to be sure but your dreaming at $25. US pricing doesn't mean squat for us.
I own a 5/30 and never use it (don't even ask, I'm not selling it). It's a nuisance being so long. If I could actually use it to it's designed capacity I could tolerate the fact that it's a pain in the butt, but until Canadian law makers wake up and realize a rivet doesn't stop a criminal from committing a crime and let the rest of us have some fun I'll just let it sit in the rifle case next to my rifle.

Looks cool but that's about it.

Well its 25 $ on Irunguns.us plus there shipping, probably not worth it if someone would buy one but for 2 or 3 its not that bad. I bought from them in december 3 thermold 5/20 for my rfb , 2 thermold 5/30 for my mini 14 and 2 s&w 10/17 for my m&p.

So what did that work out to per mag?
I was thinking it wouldn't be worth it unless you bought 20 of them. Best to get a few guys together for a group buy.
Before the new rules and expensive export permits I was ordering mags out of the us for between $20 and $30 each shipped to my door. Now the permits are so stupid very few will waste their time. I appreciate what I run guns is doing but it's too bad they don't seem to be bringing in enough quantity per shipment to offset the ridiculous cost of the export permits.

Well here the thing its a additional 25 $ for the first mag then 12.50 $ for every other and there is a small shipping fee in canada, me to nb was 30 $. So yeah not cheap by any standards. Bit were else do you find 5/30 fal mags, or any fal mags?

On ktog forum some guy bought it and said the tower was to short and it did not seat properly or something :(

This ^^^. 5/5 or 5/10 mags are more practical and functional in my RFB for all my applications (range, field carry, hunting, etc). Someone source these please.
