PAL /RPAL still waiting....frustrated

Hello All
has anybody got this message, when they checked their application status online?


Application Received on: 2013/03/13

Current Status: Your application has been received. It is currently being processed. You have been, or will be contacted either by phone or by mail for additional information. Please check the status again at a later date.



I currently have a POL renewed last year
so I really don't get why this is taking so long

I passed both challenges with 90% mar 2nd ,Mailed the application for my PAL and RPAL Mar 4 w/ test results
I called them March 20 and was told to call back at a later date that didn't have the app yet
and finally this showed up online just a couple days ago

could someone please tell me how to speed this up or what worked for you??
it would be So much appreciated

I guess am just fed up with looking at stuff I wanna get and watching sales go buy

while my law abiding papers that cost me quite a bit of time and money
sit on some goverment employees desk for no reason and do nothing
I know I'm preaching to the choir just need to vent to people that would understand
any insite would be appreciated

Mine was received mar 4 and just got licence in mail yesterday. After I got the same message I waited a week and called in to ask if I could do interview, then had references call in for theirs and hours later done.
Took 3weeks to show up online at the beginning.
 
You should take a look at the sticky BT calalta in the Newbie forums. I followed the directions and had no problems. Its also better to call them and ask if there are any issues or problems...

Hey lnl45,
I mailed my paperwork in Nov.15 and got my licence March 15 - it took 4 months. Everything was in order and my references were reached by phone as I was 3 weeks prior to delivery. I was still able to make purchases at my local gun store and have my rifles put aside until I received my card (PAL/RPAL). You need to be patient and buy what you like on lay-away!!!
