I am very impressed with Canpar on my latest order from Canada Ammo. My rifle made it from Vancouver on the 8th to Regina on the 10th. My previous experiences were very hit and miss, but this time it couldn't have been faster.

I've always had good luck with them. Not the fastest and they leave items at the back door, inside porch.
But at the price of shipping from CanadaAmmo(Free!), I ain't complainin'.

Buddy of mine had a pistol come through them. He missed the driver and when he contacted customer service they told him the package had already been delivered! Sorted out over the next couple of days though, and they made an extra trip to hand deliver it. I just got a CanadaAmmo package from them, only trouble was I had to go down to the depot to get it due to work hours. All in all not bad.

They never deliver in Toronto. Just leave a note for attempted delivery, without bothering to ring doorbell.

My only gripe with CanPar is when you miss the delivery, the pickup window is only 1 hour! Open from 0800-0900.

But what can you expect for free?

Ya, that was the case when they delivered to me as well. Only available for 1 hour in the day and I was working a 7 day stretch, so they would have sent it back after another failed delivery attempt. Luckily I was able to contact them and they arranged a time that fit my schedule.

I am in Toronto and thus far all the ammo\rifles have been delivered to my door. The ring for me LOL.

Just yesterday they delivered LAR15 Mags. Waiting on some Butler Creek Mags now from CanAmmo.

UPS seems to not knock or ring my doorbell for me. They just leave packages sitting on my front steps all the time regardless if your home or not.

My last couple of dealings with them have been great. I missed one of them and was able to call them and have it held for pickup the next morning.

Wow, 2 days would have been great. So far Ive been waiting 6 days and theyre still driving my package all over Alberta. Why not stop and deliver it along the way rather than driving it all the way to Calgary, then Edmonton and who knows where theyre taking it next. I hope I actually get it...

They dropped a pistol off at my buddy's front door with out getting a signature. i my self have always gotten a door hanger left,but have always picked up at their depot.

For those that have dealt with Canpar, does your package usually get sent all over the place? It was supposed to go from Vancouver to Wembley, AB but instead it went to Calgary then Edmonton. Now it tells me its being held at Edmonton (been there for 2 days)? Their office is closed so I can't call to find out what the hell they think they're doing. 6 full business days and its farther from the sender than its destination.

I`ve never had a problem with them before. They have always left packages on the front step for me (although that was for non firearms related purchases)

Hm well they'll be getting a call in the morning. Hopefully it gets here soon. Canada Ammo has been good however. Slow but successful on their part.

Weird experience, customer service told me its being held in Edmonton and was going to call and ask why then call me back. A couple hours later I tried calling but got a message saying the number is no longer in service. All their numbers were down. So I try again this afternoon and was told a message was sent to the terminal but not replied to. They tried calling the terminal and a forwarding agent that was supposed to be taking the parcel to me. Neither answered their phones and I was told they'd call me when they new anything. They also told me it was supposed to be delivered yesterday? Can I pay for Canada Post next time? I'll gladly pay $15 to know my package won't be shipped off halfway across the province and held by people who don't answer their phones or emails all day.
