Hello

I've just come into possession of a Cooey 64B made by Winchester in Cobourg Ontario. Serial CA08####
which of course is missing the magazine and rear sight ..Can anyone tell me if this model had the plastic or steel magazine
and about how much are these things are worth?

Thanks

With so many Cooey, winchester, Lakefield-mossberg and savage 64s for sale, average prices are $125-150 in my opinion. The different mags are very obvious, the "plastic" mag is large and square and inserts on an "L" bracket while the much slimmer metal mag inserts into a metal magwell that is skelton key shape.

I thought he was wondering how much the mags are worth?? You are correct on the rifle prices if he is wondering about that.

Thanks, magwell is skeleton key shaped so it's confirmed , metal mag.

was asking about the rifle value. Thanks for the Savage info. I ran into my buddy at the range last night and he said he'd hook me up with a used mag for $10
and a new mag for $20..Considering I just want to replace missing parts to sell it, I'm thinking used.

You can order the mag and im 99% sure the rear site from Savage. I had to get a part for mine a couple years back and had no issues. Had them put in an extra mag. It was cheaper then any of the parts dealer I could find too.
