That's what's known on here as a "Cooey Carcano", made by Cooey from surplus Carcano rifles for Eatons between the First and Second World Wars . Fairly common - and interesting.
Cool never heard of a "Cooey" Carcano before and i didnt think it was that old the rifling is almost brand new on the thing cant wait to take her to the range.
The cat is Mitsuki and she is pretty much THE master of the house and any one in it.
Rebuilt in Toronto, contracted by Eatons for mail order. Had a bad "rep", but that was from folks using the wrong ammo...double set trigger is a give-away!

One last question when you say wrong ammo what do you mean did they try and use 6.5x52????? is it safe to use with the modern stuff my granddad used for a hunting trip and be for him his friend used it but nearly shot him self tho (set trigger was worn)
