I just watched a BBC clip that said a lot of the backyard gun manufacturers are working for shooters arms now. I couldn't believe how good the backyard copies looked, they weren't just homemade pistols they looked well made.

They were home made. And they were well made. Just cuz its made at home doesn't mean it sucks. Just because it is made in a factory doesn't mean its any good.

That's a muzzle booster that helps direct gas back on short barreled AKs (and evidently T97s) to help cycle the action. Aside from the gas boost it has a simple flash hider on the end, no brake or comp.
