So I just bought a Browning double auto at the Dawson Creek gun show. It seems like a great gun, and everything I've read about them has been pretty positive. I have one question tho... I know they made 3 different models, one with a steel frame, and 2 with alloy frames. I also heard that they made the alloy ones in different colors. Mine has a steel frame, but the frame for the trigger group is alloy and has kind of a dark red color to it. Does that mean that somebody Frankensteined 2 guns together at some point, or did they actually make some that way? It doesn't really matter as it seems to shoot good and it's not that noticeable, I was just curious.
