Looking for advice on powder

IMR stands for Improved Military Rifle which was a line of powder produced by Dupont.
Dupont is an American company started in Delaware in the early 1800's.
CIL was a Canadian powder company owned jointly by Dupont and ICI (a British company), the Dominion Cartridge Company was also part of this consortium.
In 1986 Dupont sold its IMR powder line to Expro and the IMR Powder Company was established.
In 2003 Hodgdon bought the IMR powder company from Expro.

Kaz, it meters very well and is the perfect speed for 308. I have used a lot of it.

the only complaint about 4320 is that the speed of the powder tends to vary from lot to lot. if it works well for you, buy a 8 ponder, so you don't have to buy another can real soon.
