BC black bears question

I want to go bear hunting in BC :ang
But the hoops I have to jump through to, and the cost, just doesn't seem feasible to me. I mean, needing a chaperone either a resident, or a guide? I guess I will have to make some friends in BC when I head out to Canal Flats in June. I'm kinda bummed I won't get the chance to go this year :(

There are less gates the further north you go on the island so that is something to keep in mind. Two days to smack a bear? Very do-able. Pumpkin head? Luck will have to play a part but always possible. Luck is always a factor. Woss area always has a number of good bears come out.

Holberg (pop. 200) is a small settlement on northern Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. The community was established in the early 1900s by Danish ...

Dam,WTF was I thinking.
Thanks for the Geography lesson this afternoon,
Rob

Sorry Rob I thought you were serious my bad But you'd be amazed how many people say "where's that" when I tell them where I grew up

Well, I checked a decent area around Boston Bar yesterday. It was windy as hell with many trees laying across the roads needed to be sawed, in a whole day just saw 2 piles of sh*t. Saw some deers and beavers (4-legged ;)) but not a single bear. I wonder if the wind did that bad trick or it is simply too early, hmm

Wind nothing moves in it if the wind is blowing hard they can't hear and
Most Likely it's circling . You have to go into the bush there not going to be walkin
In the open .
It's earliy season I'm sure there hungry try finding the food .

I saw 6 bears in the open in 4 hours tonight on thee north island .... one for sure shooter that we could not call back after it ran

Might not be able to go to the island this coming weekend (too much work gets me into one day left), so I could only go somewhere close by. I was thinking about sunshine coast, any opinion on that?
