Hello all,

I committed to a GSG purchase very recently, but am hunting for a supplier of parts & pieces to dress up my unit once it arrives.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Anyone with parts from their own GSG, feel free to PM if selling.

Thanks

What kind of parts are you currently looking for?

The GSG 1911 is a full size copy of the .45 version of the 1911 and many of the parts from one will fit on the other with little or no modification.

We offer the full line of factory GSG accessories and are working with ZRTS to hopefully be able to offer their products on the Canadian Market shortly.

Best regards,
Ryan Patterson

Do you have any other accessories to dress it up as mentioned?

Hello Ticketed,
I apologize for the delay in my response. On this upcoming shipment from GSG we will be stocking new Target Grips, Metal Rear Adjustable Sights, Bridge Mounts which allow you to put an optic on a pistol with a lower rail as well as GSG Mini Red Dot Sights which mount to the Bridge Mount. We are currently in discussions with ZRTS to possibly bring their products to the market in Canada.

Best regards,
Ryan Patterson

Mmmmmmm .... awesome.

Ticketed, before your first trip to the range make sure you field strip and clean the gun thoroughly. I recently bought one from someone other than Blue Line and only ran a patch through the barrel before heading to the range. After an incredibly frustrating attempt to make it function properly I phoned the shop I purchased it from and recieved no help at all. I then phoned Blue Line and was given excellent advise from the guy I spoke with. Make sure you use high velocity ammo.

Just had knee replacement surgery, a little grumpy now. Crap on tv so spending too much time here. Just looking to have a spirited exchange of ideas to keep my sanity. I can understand the 10-22 comment, bought a new one as a donor for my tommy gun. As far a pistols go, have a BHP that needs nothing to be a great handgun. No fuzzy dice, dingle balls or frenched antennas. I have yet to try a pistol with a holo sight, might open my eyes and expand the horizons so to speak.

Mine works awesome with just about every ammo I put through it, including standard velocity and subsonic rounds. The subsonics were just barely cycling the action, but were running through the gun with no problems. I did sand the coating off the rails and lightly lubricate everything before hand. It will start failing to feed when it gets dirty after you feed most of a brick of filthy winchester wildcat through it. I am very satisfied with the gun - just needs better sights.

I would get in line for non-adjustable competition style sights. Possible? Anybody know the specs of that dovetail cut?
