Man this is proving to be a hard decision.I'm thinking that the 4-16x range is where i want to be.Mil dot is out(to busy for me).Leaning toward robbing my elite 3200 4-12x40 AO off another rifle.Then i'll have to decide what to put in it's place lol.

4-12, 4.5-14 or 5-15.

I wouldn't want any power higher than 5 on the low end, you want good field of view - on a running coyote you need to be able to get well ahead of him.

Take a look at the 4-12 Redfield Revolution or a used 5-15 Bushnell 3200 Elite.

I have used lower mag but I currently use 6-24 or 6-25 by 50 or 56mm on my yote guns.

If he fills the eyepiece at 6x he is to close to lead anyway, even if he's in warp drive with afterburners unless you are shooting a slingshot.

Got a bushnell elite tactical 6 - 24 X 50.. have only had a chance to use it within about 150 so I haven't had much of a chance to test it but it's really really clear up to 24 and nice field of view... was actually just thinking about posting up a thread so someone could explain how to use the mil-dots on this pig.

Youtube is best. Lots of videos explaining mil-dots.
