I'm looking for a .750 adjustable low pro gas block in Canada. Brownelles has one under $100, but if I can source one this side of the border.......

I have a low pro GB, but I want an adjustable one for this build......

Any leads?

I've tried;
Dlask
ATRS
Wolverine
Questar
CTCS
Arms east

If you are looking at something like the JP adjustable, then as far as I know, it just uses a set screw (I think it has a jam nut too but I'm not 100% on that). With it, you would get gas erosion over time as well, but set screws are cheap and you would probably put quite a few rounds through it before it started to open up

Unless you mean like the switch-type that Noveske sells?

Looked everywhere a few months back. Ended up buying from Brownells.

I pictured a dial on th front of the GB that I could turn to open up or choke off gas into the tube....... So far all I've been able to find is one Adj. GB at brownelles in stock.

Apparently AGW is making one......

I may just use the non adjustable one I have for a bit till they get theirs to market.

If the AGW one winds up not developing or if it looks like a POS I'll reevaluate at that time.....

It's jut a real pain in the butt..... I passed up on one from a club member about a year ago. " what would I want that for" ARs are ment for run and gun, gas is good!

All I can suggest is the Noveske one. I dont know if anyone can order one for you though. It has a switch on the front and is three position. It has it's own gas tube IIRC

If you have access to a Mill, you can make one in about an Hour, knowing the measurement and height of the picany rail gas block will help!

There's a company in Calgary called Spartan Precision that makes a stainless (melonited) adjustable gas block, However:

- I have no idea the quality of them or their stuff, never even heard of them before I was looking for adjustable gas blocks.

- No lock screws or anything, they seem to have them listed for precision work on their website so I have no idea if it would work on a 3-gun / short barreled or tactical type rifle.

- Gas adjustment is on the side so you'd need to drill a hole in the side of the handguard or take the handguard off to adjust it (I have the Diamondhead rail and it would have worked with an existing vent cutout)

Another one I was looking at was the Wilson Combat adjustable gas block. Has a set screw "lock" that you take out to adjust the inner screw so they are lockable, but it's an in-line gas block (gas tube is strait) so it's higher and not sure if it would work with my handguard.

In the end I just bought a Vltor fixed gas block but would like an adjutsable. The Syrac one seems very nice (probably best design out of all) but they won't ship to Canada themselves (tried it :( ) and brownells has been perpetually out of stock so I can't even see if they are shippable (99 bucks or 95 I think, so as long as they are US State Dept. registered it should be okay)

We are still working on it. Hope to run another prototype this month. Too many projects on the go!!!

The noveske looks pretty sweet!

The only one in stock at the moment is the one I would need too!

Down side, only 3 leves of adjustment....... Full gas, no gas and some gas......

Other than that its perfect! lol!

It's going on a 20" kreiger. I'm building a bench gun, so being able to dial in gas settings on a match chambered rifle would be a good thing IMO......

Lets see if the syrac is exportable.......
