I'm assuming the NEA Absolute co-witness handguard for VZ58 has absolute cowitness for the Aimpoint T1? Is it also absolute cowitness for other optics like the Bushnell TRS-25 for example?

Here's mine with my bushnell trs-25. Works great! I really like it

No optic is an absolute co-witness on any VZ mount.

Bottom third to bottom quarter is what you can expect from a TRS-25/NEA combo.

No, the previous post does not contradict.

"Absolute co-witness" means that when you line up your irons and the dot, the dot will appear centered in the optic's tube.

The NEA description is incorrect. As I said, you'll get a bottom third to bottom quarter co-witness.

Yeah it's slightly lower than dead center. Only slightly! Irons were on so I lined up irons and then put dot on front sight post and it's bang on. I kinda lift my cheek up a bit so irons aren't lined up this puts the dot above front site but it is still bang on. I find this more comfortable. Great fun!!

The trs and aim point must sit lower than the sparc.

I can't line my irons up and be looking through the glass.

The dot emitter is on the bottom of the Sparc's tube and blocks that part you need to co-witness on the NEA/VZ combo. Another reason I prefer the Bushnell.

Better field of view, less clutter, quicker (folks have a tendency to still line up the irons which causes issues because with a dot you're supposed to look at the target, not the dot) but still available instantly should the dot fail.

Good answer. It happens instinctively, if you have absolute co-witness, and can slow down placing rounds on target.
