Just purchased my first DW revolver and man it's a doozy..... It must be all the Clint Eastwood movies I watched as a kid, as something about the 15" barrel looks amazing to me. Or perhaps the history of DW. In any case, I spent almost 5 years trying to track down a 15" 15-2 just like this one, finally finding one in Ohio, and as of yesterday I now own one! It was advertised as new condition, possibly unfired (although I'm thrilled if it's only low round count) and comes with the zebra wood grips that are gorgeous. Down the road I will track down several more of the quick change barrel lengths and what a riot it will be to shoot them all. And if I turn out to be a really poor shot with it, I can always reach out and touch the paper with the muzzle and go bang!
Thanks again to Clay at Prophet River for coming through again at a moments notice to snag this one at auction, and for taking care of all of the importation requirements.
First pic is an internet photo I've had as my screen saver for several years.....
